About us
Beachy's Equine Supply is run by two brothers, Josh and Joseph Beachy, from our place on Mullis Road in Hamptonville, North Carolina.
We grew up working with horses, and that hasn't changed. A good part of what we do is buying horses that come to us thin or in rough condition. We put them on good feed and quality supplements, give them time, and bring them back to health. Once a horse is sound and in good flesh, we generally sell it on to someone who will enjoy it.
That's how the store started. When you're working on horses that need to gain weight, grow better feet, or clean up a skin problem, you find out quickly what actually works and what doesn't. We've tried every brand we carry on our own horses. Lines like dac run thirty or forty products deep, so we haven't personally fed every single item, but we've used enough of each line to trust it and to stand behind it as a dealer.
The lines we carry
We became Atlas Equine dealers at the start of 2026, an Amish owned line of natural supplements and horse care products. A couple months before opening the store we picked up the dac line as well, which gave us their vitamin, mineral and lick tub products. Those have been especially useful for people who keep horses out on pasture and don't grain them. Alongside those we stock Equaide for proud flesh, Yoder's Hoof Builder, and MJ's Healing Wonder for cuts and skin conditions.
Who we help
Our customers range from folks with one or two horses kept as pets, to trail riders, to show and competition barns keeping horses in top working condition. A backyard horse and a performance horse have different needs, but both do better on the right minerals and honest advice. Ask us what you're dealing with and we'll point you at what we'd use.
How we do business
Most orders are picked up here at the shop or delivered locally. Store hours are limited, so the best first step is always a phone call or an email. Call or email to get a quote, and we'll check stock and set up a time.
Local delivery is available for a fee within roughly an hour and a half of Hamptonville, and we'll sometimes waive it on a large order. For longer distances we can look into shipping.
